I read a memoir by a woman who used to be in the sex industry and one chapter was entirely about selling foot content - the practical side, the money, the specific ways clients treated her. The book was completely non-fiction and the details opened my eyes to how structured the whole industry actually is.

Weekend hotel stays with no phones. Checking into a room with a partner for 48 hours, leaving our phones in the car, and spending the whole weekend drifting between the bed, the bathtub and room service. The total immersion is what I crave.

My favorite pedicure is nude rose or deep taupe. The most memorable compliment: an assistant manager told me my small feet after a fourteen-hour shift still look presentable, which I took as the highest praise. My favorite shoes are nude block heels and leather flats.
