Four minutes and fifty seconds, and every one of them belongs to a pair of nylon soles. Jacqueline sits down at the dark wooden table in a blue polka dot top and tan pantyhose, swings both feet up onto the surface and points her soles at the lens before she has said a word.
The nylon does what nylon does. Sheer tan mesh flattens over the ball of each foot, darkens where it stretches across her heels, and turns the purple polish underneath into a muted shine you can just make out through the weave. She flexes, and fine wrinkles run the length of both soles under the fabric.
At EU 39, US 8.5 her feet fill the tabletop shot from edge to edge. Jacqueline crosses them at the ankle, uncrosses them, presses the soles flat together and rolls them apart again, and the camera stays low so the table line runs right under her heels. Her curls fall forward while she watches the lens over the tops of her toes.
Then she stands, and the second half changes the angle completely. Bare wooden floor, a folding chair frame in the shot, and Jacqueline up on the balls of her feet with both heels lifting clear of the ground. The tiptoe tease stretches her arches hard, the nylon pulling tight across the top of each foot while the toe patch bunches at the front.
She holds the lift, lowers, lifts again, shifts weight from one foot to the other so the soles rock and flex in front of the camera. Standing 170 cm, 5 ft 7 in, she gets the whole leg into the frame and still keeps her feet the closest thing to the lens.
