Daylight changes everything. After a run of dark loft shoots, Olgerta turns up in a rust floral summer dress on a pale velvet sofa, drops onto her stomach in a bright white living room and folds her legs up behind her. Feet in The Pose, ankles crossed, soles tilted back toward the lens, and the whole eight and a half minutes runs from that one position.
The Pose works because nothing else competes for the frame. Her chin rests on the cushion, the dress stays exactly where it is, and everything interesting happens above her knees. She crosses one ankle over the other, uncrosses them, lets her heels drift apart and then presses her soles together, all while looking back over her shoulder at the camera.
Size EU 39, US 8.5 gives her plenty to work with up there. The soles are pale and smooth in the window light, creasing into fine lines when she points her toes and smoothing out when she relaxes, red polish flashing at the top of the frame every time she flexes. The camera moves in slowly, then pulls back to keep the dress and the legs in the shot.
Later she rolls onto her side and stretches out along the couch, one leg over the other, feet pointed hard toward the far armrest. Long calves, a summer hem riding up her thighs and two arched feet at the end of them, framed against the beige velvet and the golden pampas in the corner.
At 172 cm, 5 ft 8 in, Olgerta is one of the tallest models on the site, and this angle uses every centimetre of leg to get you to her feet. The daylight setting keeps it soft and unhurried, closer to a lazy afternoon than a shoot.
Eight minutes and thirty-one seconds of feet in The Pose in 4K, with a floral dress and a bright room for a change of scenery. Watch the full video and let her hold the position as long as she likes.
