I was hunting for vintage shoes on eBay a few years ago and the search results started mixing in very strange auction listings - old photographs and polaroids of feet, sold individually. I clicked on a few listings out of pure curiosity and ended up reading the bidder comments for the rest of the evening.

Being eaten out for hours. No rushing, no moving on to the next thing - just a man committed to that one act with total patience. By the time he's done I'm a different person.

My favorite pedicure is vintage cherry red or antique cream. The most memorable compliment: a regular antique-shop customer told me my narrow feet look like they belong to a woman from a black-and-white photograph. My favorite shoes are vintage Mary Janes and period leather boots.

Seamed nude stockings or bare. Pantyhose feels too modern for my closet.

A little. I'm a private person in general so anything body-specific makes me pause.

Very sensitive, especially on the arches. Standing on old wooden shop floors all day leaves the arches very reactive.

I feel admired the way I admire a rare object at work - slowly, with attention to every detail.

Moderately. I giggle but stay fairly composed.

After a full shift dusting antiques my soles are warm with soft natural wrinkles. Seamed stockings keep scent faint.

Vintage-themed requests - fans who want specific period aesthetics, old mirrors, sepia tones. I shoot those often because the shop already looks that way.

I would film a long video in the back room of an antique shop where I sit on a green velvet chaise in a satin slip, slowly roll off nude seamed stockings from my narrow feet and let the camera study my bare soles against old mahogany floorboards.
