A regular customer at the cafe once offered me cash - a lot of cash - just to take photos of my feet on my break. I refused him politely but walked home that night completely distracted. A week later I signed up for my first shoot.

I would film an end-of-shift video where I sit on the bar counter of the empty cafe in my apron, slowly peel off my white sneakers and ankle socks, and prop my warm bare soles on a second bar stool while the camera stays close to my toes.
